Beta Service Notice
TalentSpottingAI is currently in beta testing. The service may change, features may be added or removed, and temporary interruptions may occur as we improve the platform. By using the beta service, you acknowledge and accept these conditions. Beta users who register before February 15, 2025 will receive 1 year of premium features at no cost once payment features are introduced.
Welcome to TalentSpottingAI
We are a career services platform connecting students at Greek universities with employers offering internships, graduate programs, and entry-level positions in Greece.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of services offered by TalentSpottingAI ("TalentSpottingAI", "we", "us", or "our"), including our web application, websites at talentspottingai.com, and all related features, tools, data, and documentation (collectively, the "Services").
By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, including the dispute resolution provisions below, please do not use the Services.
These Terms may change over time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Services. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
1. Account Creation
Student Accounts
Students at Greek universities can create accounts using their university email address (.edu or .gr domains). By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you may not use the Services.
You may provide additional information including profile photo, CV/resume, professional skills, and work experience. All information you provide must be accurate and complete. Student accounts are free forever.
Employer Accounts
Employers (companies, startups, organizations) can create accounts to post jobs, search for candidates, and participate in career events. You must represent a legitimate business entity and have authorization to act on its behalf.
Employer accounts are currently free during beta (until February 15, 2025). After beta, certain premium features may require paid subscription. Beta users registered before February 15, 2025 will receive 1 year of premium features free.
University Accounts
University career services departments can create accounts to manage events, track student outcomes, and connect students with employers. University accounts are currently free during beta (until February 15, 2025). After beta, we may introduce premium features or subscription plans for universities. We will provide at least 60 days notice before implementing any charges.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Not share your account with others
- Not create accounts using automated means (bots, scripts)
2. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Post discriminatory content based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Scrape, copy, or bulk download user data without authorization
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services
For Employers Specifically
Employers agree to:
- Maintain fair and non-discriminatory hiring practices as required by Greek and EU law
- Use student data only for legitimate recruiting purposes
- Not share, sell, or disclose student data to third parties
- Not contact students for purposes unrelated to posted job opportunities
- Comply with GDPR requirements when processing student personal data
3. Privacy and Data Protection
Student Privacy
Student profiles are public by default to help you be discovered by employers. You have full control and can change to private at any time. Students control what information is shared:
- Public Profile (Default): Visible to employers in search results. Employers can message you about opportunities. You can change to private anytime.
- Private Profile (Optional): Only visible to your university career services. Employers cannot find you in searches. You can still apply for jobs.
- Application Data: When you apply for a job, the employer receives your CV, cover letter, and relevant profile information regardless of privacy setting.
- Granular Controls: Hide specific information (GPA, contact info, activity status) through Settings > Privacy.

4. Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload (CV, profile information, messages, etc.). By uploading content, you grant TalentSpottingAI a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and process your content solely for operating and improving the Services.
Our Content
The TalentSpottingAI platform, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by TalentSpottingAI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
5. Payment and Subscriptions
Free Services
Student accounts are free forever with full access to all student features.
Employer and university accounts are currently free during beta (until February 15, 2025).
Future Paid Services (Post-Beta)
After February 15, 2025, we may introduce premium features or subscription plans for:
- Employers: Advanced recruiting tools, analytics, priority support
- Universities: Enhanced event management, advanced analytics, white-label features
If paid services are introduced, we guarantee:
- At least 60 days advance notice before implementing any charges
- Beta users (registered before Feb 15, 2025) receive 1 year of premium features free
- Clear pricing displayed before purchase
- Ability to cancel subscriptions at any time
- Refunds as required by EU consumer protection law (14-day cooling-off period)
- Free tier remains available (access to core features without charge)
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Service "As Is"
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the extent permitted by EU law. We do not guarantee that:
- The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free (especially during beta)
- All features will work perfectly at all times
- You will find a job or hire a candidate through the platform
- Third-party content (job postings, employer information) is accurate
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Greek and EU law, TalentSpottingAI shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Actions or conduct of other users (students, employers, universities)
- Third-party content or services linked from our platform
Note: Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Greek or EU law.
7. Account Termination
Your Right to Delete
You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with GDPR requirements and our data retention policies (see Privacy Policy for details).
Our Right to Terminate
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Harass or abuse other users
- Repeatedly post inappropriate content
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Services:
- Informal Resolution: Contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution (required first step)
- Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before litigation
- Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Athens, Greece
EU consumers retain all mandatory rights under EU consumer protection law, which cannot be limited by these Terms.
9. Changes to the Services
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, update, or discontinue any feature or functionality
- Change our pricing structure (with 30 days notice for paid services)
- Temporarily suspend the Services for maintenance
- Implement new features or remove existing ones
During beta, changes may occur more frequently as we improve the platform based on user feedback.
10. Third-Party Content and Links
The Services may contain:
- Job postings created by employers (we do not verify all employer claims)
- Links to external websites (we are not responsible for external content)
- User-generated content (reviews, comments, forum posts)
We are not responsible for third-party content and do not endorse any opinions expressed by users or employers.
11. Professional Conduct
TalentSpottingAI is a professional platform. Users are expected to:
- Communicate professionally and respectfully
- Provide truthful information in profiles and applications
- Respect the time and effort of other users
- Report violations of these Terms
12. Data Rights (GDPR)
As an EU-based service, we respect your GDPR rights:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data (email [email protected])
- Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate information (Settings > Profile)
- Right to Erasure: Delete your account and personal data (Settings > Account > Delete Account)
- Right to Data Portability: Export your data in machine-readable format (contact [email protected] during beta; automated export coming post-beta)
- Right to Object: Object to certain data processing activities (Settings > Privacy)
- Right to Complain: File complaints with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority

13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TalentSpottingAI from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you upload or share through the Services
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TalentSpottingAI regarding use of the Services.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
